Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
